Lamination Stacks

The laminator is an encapsulation that uses single layer of insulating layer to suppress eddy current loss under dynamic magnetic load. Internally manufactured cobalt-iron or nickel-iron bars, combined with the adjusted production technology, provide the best superposition solution in terms of performance and cost. These components are mainly used for stator and rotor of generator and generator, and can also be used as laminated iron core.

49% cobalt-iron alloys, such as VACOFLUX < and VACODUR <, have high magnetic saturation characteristics up to 2.3 t. Therefore, they are generally suitable for all applications requiring high magnetic density and minimum weight.

Our alloy cobalt content of 49% and 2% vanadium provides low coercivity and produces excellent performance parameters for motors and generators.

By using our proprietary annealing temperature, VACODUR alloys exhibit strength characteristics suitable for high-speed rotating machinery.
